Details of Gum contouring

It is a procedure to reshape or resculpt the gumline. It involves removing excess gum tissues around the teeth when there is excess of tissues and it involves restoring gum tissues when there is gum recession.

During this, soft tissue laser or scalpel is used to remove excess gum tissue and resculpt the gumline for better look. If gums recede and then the gum tissue will be added from any other part of the mouth or from palate.
