Details of Varicocele

Varicocele is a medical condition which results in enlargement of veins inside the scrotum, the part of the body which holds the testicles. It is similar to varicose veins that affect the leg area.

• Pain in scrotum
• Lump in testicles
• Unshapely testicles
• Swelling

Improper blood flow to valves of scrotum

• Physical examination
• Imaging tests

Wearing tight-fitting underwear or a strap for support to the scrotum.

Surgery: that either ties off the affected veins so that blood can flow around them or stops blood from flowing into the enlarged veins.
