Details of Thyroidectomy Surgery

Thyroidectomy surgery, better known as thyroid surgery, is required when the thyroid gland produces excess hormone or develops abnormal growths like tumours and nodules. The glands produce hormones that are responsible for regulating blood pressure, heart rate, weight and body temperature.
