Details of Testicular Artificial Implant

Testicular implant is required when a male is born without a testicle (male reproductive gland) or it is removed owing to disease or injury.

Swollen/red scrotum

During surgery, an incision is made in the lower groin area or the scrotum, and the implant (usually silicone rubber filled with either silicone gel or salt water) is either sewn or fixed together to retain the correct position.
