Spasticity is the condition in which muscles and joints become tight or stiff, resulting in impaired movement and sometimes speech.

• Joint/muscle tightness

Physical examination
Imaging tests: X-ray, CT scan, MRI

Medications: Muscle relaxants and sedatives to calm and soothe the affected muscles
Physiotherapy: It helps in relaxing the muscles and reducing stiffness
Surgery: In rare cases of spasticity is surgery conducted to release stiff tissues and restore muscle functions.
