Details of Phimosis and Paraphimosis

Phimosis and Paraphimosis are penis disorders that usually develop in young boys. In case of the former, the foreskin of the penis cannot be pulled down or retracted from the tip, whereas in case of the latter, the retracted foreskin can’t be moved back up to the tip.

• Swelling of penis

Steroid Creams: Applied on the foreskin to loosen the skin.
Circumcision: Partial or full removal of the foreskin.
Slit: A narrow cut is made in the foreskin to loosen the skin.
