Details of Facial Implants

Facial implants are used to balance the appearance of the face. These are commonly used to enhance the chin, jaw and/or cheeks.

Types:

Chin implants: These increase the size and degree of projection of the chin. A small or recesses chin seems to disappear in the back of the chin, chin implants can fix this.

Jaw implants: These increase the breadth of the lower third of the face. A jaw that is not well defined and separate from the neck is fixed with these.

Cheek implants: These increase the projection of cheekbones, adding volume to areas that are flat or recessed. Plastic surgery with facial implants is best performed on people whose head and skull have reached physical maturity, which generally occurs in late adolescence.
