Details of Elbow Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a procedure for diagnosing and treating joint problems. A narrow tube is attached to a fiber-option video camera through a small incision. The view inside the elbow is transmitted to a high-definition video monitor. It prevents a large incision. Surgeons may even be able to correct some types of joint damage during arthroscopy, with pencil-thin surgical instruments inserted through more small incisions.
