It is a condition of narrow passageway caused by a pinched nerve. Which is surrounded by bones and ligaments on the palm side of a hand.

• Pressure on the median nerve
• Narrow passageway

• Imaging tests such as X-rays
• Electromyography
• Nerve conduction study
• Physical examination

Treatment option:

This surgery can be carried out with two different techniaues: Endoscopic surgery: Some incisions in the hand or wrist are made to cut the ligament using an endoscope to see inside the carpal tunnel.

Open surgery: In which an incision in the palm over carpal tunnel is made to cut the ligament and to free the nerve.
