Details of Breast Implant Revision surgery

It is procedure to enhance breast size placing silicone or saline breast implants under breast tissue or chest muscles. This procedure is performed to add size, shape, and fullness to the breast. Revision is done once you are not satisfied with previous one and provided that you are still healthy.

• Incorrect Synmastia
• Small/big size
• Loosening
• Uneven size

• Correct Synmastia 
• Unhappy with existing implant size 
• Want to change the placement of the implant 
• Revise breast implant to incorporate a breast lift 
• Correct saline implant deflation 
• Imaging suggesting silicone implant shell leak

• Physical examination 
• Blood tests 
• Imaging tests

During the procedure, the surgeon will make an incision in either place of the under breast, underarm or in the area of nipple to separate breast tissue from joining tissue of the chest. Now the surgeon will place the implant into this space. And the implant will be centered behind the nipple. If you have opted for saline implant, it will be filled with sterile after having been placed successfully. And you had opted for silicone implant, it is already filled. After this the incision will be sutured and bandaged with the surgical tape and glue.
