Blood clots are clumps of blood. It is natural if clotting occurs in case of any cut or injury to prevent the blood from profuse bleeding. But it sometimes occurs inside veins such as brain and does not dissolve on it's own causing a huge danger. A blood clot is the brain is known as a stroke.
