Fallopian tubes are female reproductive organs connecting the ovaries and the uterus. The fallopian tubes carry an egg from an ovary to the uterus during ovulation process. Conception for fertilization also happens in the fallopian tube.

• Scar tissue

Treatment options:

If fallopian tubes are blocked by small amounts of scar tissue, the doctor can do a laparoscopic surgery to remove the blockage.
