It is a refractive surgery to correct the vision problems such as poor vision and to get rid of glasses and contact lenses. It uses two types of lasers. First, an ultra-fast femtosecond laser is used to create a thin flap in the cornea. Second, an excimer laser is used to reshape the underlying corneal tissue to correct the vision.
