Dr Chaitanya Shete completed his MBBS from Govt Medical College, Miraj in 1996. After completing his post graduation in Gen Surg he perceived his DNB training in Cardio Thoracic Surgery from the prestigious Grant Medical Foundation's Ruby Hall Clinic Pune. There he got good exposure to all spectrum of cardiac surgery. Then he joined Shri Saibaba Superspeciality Hospital, Shirdi and was working there as a consultant for nine years. There he performed over 3000 cardiac surgeries including difficult surgeries like total arterial revascularisation( LIMA-RIMA Y) -(beating heart), all kinds of valve surgeries(Replacements & Repairs). He has also performed Complex congenital heart surgeries. He has expertise in complex surgeries likes MVR+ CABG, AVR+CABG, DVR+CABG etc. Less morbidity and mortality is his USP.
