• Dr Akshay Shah is an accomplished and highly skilled Hemato Oncologist and Stem Cell Transplant surgeon with more than 17 years of experience.
• His areas of expertise are Stem cell and bone marrow transplantation, Acute myeloid leukaemia, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, breast cancer, and ovarian & pediatric malignancies and Hepatocellular carcinoma.
• He completed his MBBS from MGMMC, Navi Mumbai in 2002 and DNB in Medical Oncology and Hematology from NBE - New Delhi in 2006.
• He has a fellowship in Stem Cell Transplant from the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the University of Washington Medical College.
• He had significant training in stem cell and bone marrow transplants over three years.
• He has assisted and performed over 130 transplants. He has also performed over 100 bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, lumbar punctures, intrathecal injections, pleurodesis, and intraperitoneal injections.
