Dr. Hetal P. Parikh specializes in Neurology at Shalby Hospital in Ahmedabad. After completing MD in Medicine from Government Medical College Bhavnagar, Gujarat in 2009, she specialized further, pursuing DNB in Neurology from P.D.Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai. After completing her MD in Medicine, she joined Government Medical College, Bhavnagar as Assistant Professor Medicine. She was awarded with a Gold medal – PSM, Medicine (Third MBBS). She has also received BNA Best case award in June 2013. Dr. Hetal cleared EDSS examination for Decide trial of Multiple Sclerosis in 2013. Along with attending several conferences, she has also made several presentations as a part of her academic activity. She has independently attended to several cases of intra-arterial thrombolysis in acute stroke and has also managed status epilepticus and other acute emergencies independently. She has experience in routine EEG, continuous EEG, video EEG, nerve conduction studies-(NCV) and electromyography.
