• His areas of expertise are Orthopedic Trauma surgeries, Total hip arthroplasties, Total knee arthroplasties, Total shoulder arthroplasties, Arthroscopy of the knee, ACL reconstruction, Knee pain, Joint pain, and Arthritis.
• He completed his MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune in 1977, FRCS - Trauma & Orthopedic from The Royal College of Surgeons (RCS), UK in 1984 and M.Sc - Trauma and Orthopedics from the University of London in 1987.
