• Dr Jayaprakash Shenthar is a  well-experienced Interventional Cardiologist with an experience of more than 20 years of experience.
• His areas of expertise are Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Catheterisation, Cardioversion, Carotid Angioplasty, Stenting Coronary Angiogram, Coronary Angioplasty, and Bypass Surgery.
• He completed his MBBS from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College in 1986, his MD from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli in 1991, and his DNB from the National Board of Examination in 1992.
• has performed over 600 ablations, about 550 device implantations and more than 5000 ablations and 6000 pacemaker and device implantations in adult and pediatric patients.
• In 1985, he received the Best Outgoing Student in MBBS award, and in 1993, the Best Outgoing Student in DM.
• In addition to chapters in textbooks, he has had numerous essays published in national and international journals.
• He is an associate of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Cardiological Society of India (CSI).
