• He completed his MBBS from J.S.S Medical College, Mysore and MCh from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore then he did Fellowship in Skull Base Surgery from Wayne State University, USA.
• He is Bangalore’s first Neurosurgeon to perform Pedicle Screw Fixation for Spine Injuries.
• At the International Congress of Skull Base in San Diego, he delivered presentations on the Endoscopic Approach to the Skull Base as well as several approaches to the brain and spine.
