Dr. Shahid Merchant is a super-specialist and dynamic interventional cardiologist.  He has a valuable  clinical experience of more than two and half decades in his field. He has  more than 10,000 successful procedures  in cath lab to his credit. He obtained his  training in cardiology  in France  at the Massachusetts General Hospital & Harvard Medical School. He is particularly interested in Carotid Stenting, Soluble Stents, Renal Angioplasty and treating multi-vessel Coronary Artery disease with Medicated Stents, complex intervention and TAVI. He is the first in the world to implant Soluble Stents below the knee in Diabetic foot.
