He  has more than five decades of   valuable clinical experience to his credit.  His area of specialization includes  Gynec Vaginal Surgery and particularly Hysterectomy. Apart from having long clinical experience, he also has many awards and publications to his credit.

• FACOG Honorary Fellowship of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists USA.  AND ALSO CANADA (SOGC); BRAZIL (FEBRASGO); CHILE (SCOG); YUGOSLAVIA (YAGO); NIGERIA (SOGON); POLAND (PGS) AND AUSTRALIA (AGES).
• Lifetime achievement award of FOGSI at 43rd  and  58th Conference of All India Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies held at Lucknow and Chennai, 1999 and 2015 respectively;   Distinguished Appreciation Award at 44th Conference of All India Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies held at Ahmedabad, 2000.
• First recipient of the Lion Heart Award (USA) for outstanding contributions in the field of vaginal surgery by One Kilo Club (at Orlando, USA, International College of Surgeons Conference), 2001 (nothing to do with Lion Club)
