Dr. Duru Shah is   a talented    and skilled  medical professional with specialization in the field of Gynaecology. She  has more than three decades of   extensive clinical experience to her credit.  Her  area of expertise  includes Infertility and Assisted Reproduction and Women’s Health. She has been the Past President of the Federation of Obstetric & Gynecolgical Societies of India (FOGSI), the Past Chairman of the Indian College of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ICOG) and the Past President of the Indian Menopause Society (IMS). Apart from having valuable  clinical experience, she also has many awards and publications to her credit.

• Awarded a Gold Medal at FCPS.
• Received a special Certificate of Merit for standing second in the MD exam.
• Awarded the “Honorary Fellowship” of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynecology– London November 2008.
• The first Indian to receive the prestigious “Distinguished Merit Award for service towards women’s health”, at the Opening Ceremony of the World Conference of the International Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FIGO), Rome- October 2012.
• Awarded the “Top 20 women achievers” of the Indian healthcare award – Mumbai March 2008.
• Past Hon. Prof. of Obst and Gyn, Mumbai University.
