Dr. Adi E. Dastur  is a well versed  clinician and  one of the pioneers of Electronic Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring in India. He has been the Convenor or the Faculty at various Workshops & CME Courses on Electronic Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring, Ultrasonography, Prenatal Diagnosis, Color Doppler, Endoscopic Surgery, etc. He also delivered Prestigious Orations and worked as member on the various Committees of FOGSI. He has over 280 Nationally & Internationally published and presented papers to his credit, including a chapter ‘Laparoscopy for resolving Mullerian Abnormalities’ in Dr. Jordan Phillip’s AAGL Book ‘Endoscopy in Gynaecology’, USA. 

Awards:

• The Sir Nusserwanji Koyajee Scholarship / Silver Medal at the Inter Science Examination of the University of Bombay (1963).
• The B. N. Purandare Prize and Gold Medal at the Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics ( D. G. O. ) Examination of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Bombay.
• The Dr. Dina N. Patel Prize and Gold Medal at the Fellowship Examination (F.C.P.S.) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Bombay (1972).
• Paper on “Attitude of the Expectant Couples to Family Planning” Presented at the XXXthe Meeting of the Bombay Medical Congress held in December 1972 was awarded the First Prize at the Congress from all papers presented. It is also published in the J. J. Group of Hospitals Journal in the Year 1973.
