Dr. Anuradha Suresh Rao completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore followed by DOMS & MS - Ophthalmology from Kasturba Medical College Manipal. Dr. Rao has done her fellowship in General Ophthalmology from Bangalore West Lions Eye Hospital & Cornea Grafting Centre, and has worked at various hospitals at Trivandrum, Bangalore and Chennai before moving to Kochi. She was instrumental in setting up the Department of Ophthalmology at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi & has worked there for 15 years as Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and MCI Certified Professor. She was HOD of Ophthalmology, AIMS from 2007-2010. During her tenure at AIMS, she has presented many scientific papers both in All India & Kerala State Ophthalmic Conferences. She has been invited to give Guest Lectures conducted many CME's and Instruction Courses. She brings with her a vast surgical experience in all forms of Cataract Surgery (Clear corneal Phaco, SICS), Glaucoma Surgery and has a special interest in Oculoplasty. She has trained many Undergraduates and Post Graduates. Dr. Anuradha Rao is an MCI recognized Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professor.
