Treatment of Cerebral Aneurysm

Treatment options:

Surgical clipping: This procedure is performed for the closure of aneurysm. During the procedure, the surgeon places a metal clip on the neck of aneurysm to prevent blood circulation.

Endovascular coiling: During the procedure, a catheter is inserted into groin to get access to the aneurysm and then a wire is used to disrupt the blood circulation. Here the aneurysm is sealed off from the artery.
